2024 Leadership Series: State of the Region
This panel discussion will bring together key economic experts to analyze and offer solutions for Atlantic County's economic landscape and future prospects. In the midst of significant challenges, such as competition from the expanding gaming industry in New York and the ongoing struggle to attract and retain visitors in Atlantic City, this forum will provide a much-needed platform for discussion on regional economic diversification.
The event will feature welcoming remarks from Senator Vince Polistina, followed by a moderated panel discussion with prominent economists. The focus will be on the region's economic position within the state, opportunities for job creation and investment through sectors beyond gaming, and how to build resilience in a rapidly changing economic environment.
