The Power Breakfast Panel Series, presented by Atlantic City Electric and in conjunction with Stockton’s School of Business, is a new regular offering of the Greater Atlantic City Chamber. We leverage the collective experience of Greater Atlantic City Chamber members to provide insight on specific topics that assist our member’s needs and interests. Ancero has gathered a panel of experts to discuss the most commonly expressed data security concerns among the business community. The panel will explore data protection and cybersecurity threats, consequences and solutions for the SMB. Panelists include an analyst from the NJ State Cybersecurity & Communications Integration Cell, a security solutions engineer, a data protection solution design specialist, and a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).

Kevin Hyde, Managing Director, Layer 8 Security

Kevin Hyde is an expert in establishing cybersecurity operational and governance policies for the intelligence community and private industry. He is a career field grade officer in the Marine Corps Reserve and recently served on active duty at the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command. In addition to his technical career, Kevin has utilized his former experience as a spokesman for the Marine Corps by speaking as a cybersecurity expert on multiple panels and conducting executive trainings for various companies. Kevin was honored with the designation as one of Philadelphia’s top Veterans of Influence, by the Philadelphia Business Journal in July 2016.

After covering the California market as a Channel Sales Executive for Datto, Michael joined the Business Development team in February, 2016. In his role as Channel Development Manager, Michael represents Datto at numerous trade shows and technology conferences throughout North America, frequently presenting alongside members of the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI. The objective of these presentations is to connect with Managed Service Providers and business owners to educate them on current cyber threats and the role business continuity plays in combatting these threats.
Krista Valenzuela, Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, NJ Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell

Krista Valenzuela is the team lead of the Cyber Threat Intelligence and Analysis Bureau at the New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC). Ms. Valenzuela worked for the US Department of Defense as a threat analyst working information security issues prior to joining the NJCCIC in 2015. She earned a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the College of New Jersey and holds a Security+ certification.
