Mental Health Association in Atlantic County Kick-Off of "United in Green" month
Green-lit buildings, green car magnets, green awareness pins/bracelets, social media posting (green, of course) and green fliers with info on mental health screening --- all of these are all part of the “United In Green” countywide campaign organized by The Mental Health Association in Atlantic County.
“The idea is to use the color green and messaging about wellness throughout the county to encourage people to prioritize mental health and normalize asking for help,” said the agency's Executive Director, Vicki Phillips.
For the third year in a row, the Mental Health Association in Atlantic County is partnering with businesses, municipalities, law enforcement, libraries, schools, organizations, and churches to raise awareness about mental health during May, which is Mental Health Awareness Month.
If you would like to be a part of “United In Green,” please reach out to Karen Williams at kwilliams@mhanj.org or 609-652-3800 ext. 0311. Karen will arrange for you to receive what you need to be a part of this worthwhile initiative.
