MAYS LANDING, NJ [August 6, 2026] – Eight recent graduates of the Atlantic County Institute of Technology (ACIT) earned NJAC Foundation scholarships as part of $113,000 awarded to outstanding 2026 graduates from county vocational-technical schools across New Jersey. Supported by leading corporate partners, the scholarships recognize academic excellence, technical achievement, leadership, and commitment to continuing higher education in New Jersey.
"These scholarships celebrate the dedication, determination, and talent our students demonstrate every day," said Joseph Potkay, Assistant Superintendent of the Atlantic County Institute of Technology. "Each of these graduates embraced opportunities to challenge themselves, build valuable career skills, and prepare for the future. We congratulate them on this outstanding achievement and thank the NJAC Foundation and its corporate partners for investing in the next generation of leaders."
The NJAC Foundation, a nonprofit organization affiliated with the New Jersey Association of Counties, awards scholarships annually to outstanding county vocational-technical school graduates pursuing higher education at New Jersey county colleges and four-year colleges and universities.
This year's ACIT scholarship recipients include:
- Amellie Arizmendi Perez, recipient of the NJM Insurance Group Scholarship, will attend the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
- Bradley Moise, recipient of the American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey (ACECNJ) Foundation Scholarship, will attend Rowan University.
- Edidong Ukpe, recipient of an Investors Bank Scholarship, will attend Stockton University.
- James Van, recipient of the SHI International Scholarship, will attend Rowan University.
- Jaslin Chia, recipient of the Amazon Scholarship, will attend Rutgers University.
- Sarah Rich, recipient of the South Jersey Industries (SJI) Scholarship, will attend The College of New Jersey.
- Victoria Tran, recipient of an Investors Bank Scholarship, will attend Rutgers University.
- Youssief Abdalla, recipient of the AT&T Scholarship, will attend Rutgers University.
