NJ Veteran's Housing Symposium
Mission Statement
The purpose of the New Jersey Veteran Permanent Affordable Housing Consortium (NJVPAH) is to identify and engage appropriate real estate developers, municipal entities, property managers and service providers to locate, obtain approvals, build, maintain, and provide earned and applicable benefits to the veteran residents.
Vision Statement
The American Legion the VA (Veterans Affairs) & Others will form coalitions throughout New Jersey to implement the NJVPAH Mission Statement. This could include new land and building development, renovations to existing structures, and their financing through leasing arrangements or purchase. Property management services will be engaged, and veteran benefits will be furnished by the VA and other third parties. The American Legion will provide overall Mission Statement project management, and veteran service organization related services.

This event will host presenters on a national and regional level who are subject matter experts in affordable housing and at-risk Veterans. This is a learning and networking experience for all persons interested in assisting our nation’s struggling veteran population. Topics discussed will include:
- HUD/VASH Vouchers
- Funding Sources
- Architectural Issues
- Real Estate Development
- And much more!

Parking
Use the lot outside the Academic Center. If you need to use the adjacent parking garage, bring the ticket into the venue for validation.
