SUMMARY:Atlantic City Airshow\, A Salute to Those That Serve\, Presented by GEICO
DESCRIPTION:The Atlantic City Airshow\, A Salute to Those That Serve\, is presented by GEICO and is a FREE event which will reach new heights in its 17th year on August 21. The dynamic aerial demonstration fills the afternoon sky with aircraft that fly as high as 15\,000 feet and as low as 50 feet along Atlantic City's beach and Boardwalk.\n\n\n\nThe United Kingdom's Royal Air Force Red Arrows will make the leap across the pond for the first time in more than 10 years as one of only eight performance stops in North America. Officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team\, the Red Arrows consist of 11 pilots\, nine of whom fly in the display\, and more than 100 support personnel and technicians. The team flies sleek red British built BAE Systems Hawk T1 fast jets with white accents on their wings in the 20-25 minute display\, which is broken into two parts.\n\nThe U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds\, a military squadron that tours the United States performing aerobatic formations\, will participate in this year's event\, showing off their heart-stopping maneuvers and roaring aircraft flying high above the Atlantic City beach and boardwalk.\n\n\n\nOther exciting performers include The United States Army Parachute Team\, the Golden Knights\, a highly competitive team of men and women who free fall out of aircraft in distinctive formations\, flying and soaring through the sky. You'll also see the GEICO Skytypers and the Miss GEICO racing watercraft.\n\n\n\nThroughout the air show's history\, more than 400\,000 spectators have consistently filled the beaches from Ventnor to Brigantine. The shear volume of attendees provides sponsors and exhibitors an unmatched opportunity to engage. Learn more about sponsorship opportunities by visiting .https://airshow.acchamber.com/sponsorships/\n\n\n\nA limited number of corporate hospitality chalets are available on the beach at show center. Entertain your clients and/employees in a setting unlike anything else in our area.
